Aunty Janine's 25th August 2009

I have to say that the only thing I like less than wind, is cold wind and the only thing I less than cold wind, is cold wind that has been blowing uninterrupted for weeks on end. Despite the flaws in the weather (and the occasional meltdown) we had a lovely visit with Janine and Charlotte.

Firstly we had fun looking in a cloths shop with the kids, and by fun I mean, not fun at all. But the boys all got some new cloths they were in desperate need of. Josh got some great jeans, Noah, Eli and Charlotte some new tops and Charlie a new little outfit.

After that we headed to the skate park for a spin on the scooters and to annoy the local boys who were also trying to make use of the skate park. Where credit is due, they were very patient and polite and thankfully everyone involved remained uninjured (except Noah, but today even his band aid hurt, poor Noah).

From there we relocated to the Adventure Play Ground in Eltham for a play. The kids had a really nice time playing mums and dads, sliding, swings, flying on the flying fox, pouting because they were too short for the flying fox and eating hot chips.

At home they were being very cute reading in bed together and playing dress ups. These darling little sprites just have the most wonderful time playing together, this being their life's work right now they are hard it and are very successful at being perfectly wonderful children.
* It was all a bit too much for Charlie, who fell asleep during the disco.

  1. Thanks for the visit little sis. I particularly love the kids disco (with Charlie sleeping). It is so lovely that they all get along so well.

  2. They always have so much fun together don't they. So glad Charlie just slots right in there too. He's such a lovely little boy.
