Pasta making...Our new favorite thing at the moment

This is one way to get the kids to fight over who is going to help with the dinner...oh and I mean fight, tears and all.
Love everything about fresh pasta made with our fresh eggs straight from the chook.
My favorite is a sauce made with cream, garlic & butter, snow peas and smoked chicken (yeah I don't do diets by the way, might explain the weight thing. One MUST enjoy ones food from time to time though) mmm.
Trying really hard not to over do it though so we (Danny) don't get sick of it.

Point Leo, Mornington Peninsula, Snorkelling

Janine and Charlotte came down to spend a weeks worth of summer holidays with, it was so lovely. We'd booked the kids into open water swimming lessons in Mornington, it was so awesome. They all really enjoyed it and it was amazing to see instant results.
One day we went to Point Leo and got them all new wetsuits to help with the chill factor of Melbourne beaches and water baby is complete without their own set of snorkeling gear.

Who says it's too shallow to snorkel huh???

Baby Kimono

My completely awsome sister made this gorgeous little kimono PJ set for my bonny baby. It's made out of double gauze (like muslin) so it is so super soft and delectable, it's make me want to cuddle him all the more. Love the fabric so much, he acctually wears it everywear, not just to bed. Love it, Thanks Janine you did a fabulous job. The fabric http://www.kelanifabric.com.au/index.php?PCID=11762 and pattern http://www.kelanifabric.com.au/index.php?PCID=9824&PSO=236&PSID=DP8BT1&PSV=Primary&CDO=30
are from Kelani Fabric. It acctually IS possible for my baby to look cuter than he already was...

Camping In the Macallister Gorge, West Gippsland

This is our campsite we sussed out, what a great spot and not a soul around. Loved it.

N & E had fun testing out there new rods Danny bought them. Had fun untangling them too...

Noah being a productive young chap. There is only so much wood you can chop with a blunt axe, but that wasn't going to stop him.

OH this goanna was soooo cheeky, he actually climbed into the back of the car when we were down swimming and ate all the fruit cake and kicked everything out of the boot and even climbed over into Charlie's car seat...very friendly goannas in these parts.

How much did Charlie looooooooooooe the water, we found a nice little spot in the rapids, he was mesmerised by the rushing water, he almost fell asleep in the water.

The view from Mt. Useful, you could just about reach out and grab the clouds from here, it was very beautiful. We had a chat with the guy on watch in the fire watch tower, he even offered us to climb up, but I valued our lives too much...very high skinny ladder and a looooooooooong way to fall, would have been good though.

We came to a track which we had to drive along the river bed, it was great, and very beautiful the kids and I wanted to walk it, it was great. Danny had lots of fun too. Man I'm good at picking tracks, note that there is no photos of the exit of this river and for very good reason, one need twos hand to covers both of one eyes when you are driving up a near vertical slope...I was mostly brave, braver than usual, after all I did pick the track.

Pit stop.

Going in.

It got a bit rough for Charlie, so we had to strap him in, lucky I brought my head band...
