Mount Nangar

The kids had time for some all important exploration (and a swim) before we headed off again.

OH, we found out why the park was posibly closed!!! took us half a day and several winchings to get out and on the road. But our new trailer survived.

Summer Holiday up North #4

One afternoon we all went and pick Granny up and took her out for a drink. We had a really nice time chatting as usual. Granny's chock full of good stories, and every time you talk with her she has something new I have never heard before. She has such a good memory for being 91. We love Granny!!!

Summer Holiday up North #5

Just before we were about to pull up stumps for the night a huge storm came rolling in. We pulled over to batten down the hatches. So of course when you do that in a thunderstorm you choose the tallest most metallic object you can find. Thank you petrol station. we had a feed while we rode out the storm, thankfully it blew over pretty quick and we were able to press on and find a campsite, which we did...very late. Turned out the national park we had planned to camp at was closed, but we had no where else to go so we went in anyway.

Next day we found out why it might have been closed...Oh and did I mention the spider eeeeeew. So many big fat bum spiders with their webs between the trees, not really my most favouite night camping out!!!

Summer Holiday up North #3

After a week at Dads, we headed up to the Gold Coast to visit Mum and David, and so Danny could pick up his new trailer he bought. Mum and David new home is beautiful, they have put in so much work and it has paid off, it's just lovely. We had a lovely stay, and all enjoyed the pool just a short walk away.

Oh and Charlie loved Granpa's duck.
We also managed to meet up with John and Ros for lunch and a spin on the go carts. All the "kids" had fun!!!

Found a way to get Danny and the kids to have a shower...put it outside!!!

Biff and Crab

This was sooooo funny to watch, Biff dug up a crab and played with it for ages. Both seemed like they were having fun until Biff's "your it" tag broke the crab a bit. Bit the crab did get a couple of good hits in before he went down.
